The leaves are changing, it's getting damn cold in the mornings, and school is gaining more momentum than a cold turkey cocaine addict. What a great time of the year though. This morning the air was crisp and cold, the kind you actually notice breathing and it is GLORIOUS.
The schoolwork though is getting draining, this week is pretty intense. Aside from everything i've already done this week there is thursday friday left; an essay due in English, a lab project for my Computer class, a seminar paper to report on, and a Molecular Genetics midterm. None of this bothers me except the midterm, as i can't seem to keep up with the information. I read the text and i know it, easy. Then i read the notes and know them, easy. Then i read the handouts on the internet that our teacher has given us as supplements, and sweet jesus, those are about 10 times more indepth than anything i had read about any of the material so far. So all the flash cards i made, are useful but don't cover the full depth of the course... so im busy trying to memorize all these papers such crap.
I'm writing this blog cause when i came to school this morning my classroom door was locked and after a couple seconds wrenching on the door i realized either no one is in there, or they are all bastards and no one is opening the door. I'm guessing choice B, who gets up in a lecture to open the door.
Last night i wrote a large manual on how to operate a vehicle with a manual transmission, this is a group project but i volunteered to write the entire thing as long as they edit it. The best part about this manual is that i can't even drive a manual transmission, how can i write in depth details on it???
Anyway i did, who knows if they are right.
And!
Hockey starts up tonight. I'm looking forward to catching the occasional nucks game every now and again.
What else is new and not boring?
Well, i went to a nazareth concert, pimped out in new fine clothes from value village. I got some sweet skin tight pants and an day-glo green t-shirt, not to mention one mean mullet, so that was good times. So many drunk older people there, it was pretty awesome. Pete and I met the drummer from the opening band "Unit 731" a few times without knowing who he is, he finally told us and was a pretty cool guy, i caught the drumstick he threw out to the audience and he signed it up. Pretty good band to. And nazareth was classic for a few songs, like love hurts, hair of the dog (wicked bagpipe solo), and this flight tonight.
Yes, that is my life, aside from the monotony of everyday school there isnt much.. so why write a blog about it?
Because i can
CJ
PS why are there other people in the computer lab right now? It's first period of the day, and if they dont have a class what is the point of being at the school... YOU SHOULD BE SLEEPING YOU HIPPIES.
